The Federal Communications Commission will hold an Open Meeting on Tuesday, September 11, 2007, which is scheduled to commence at 9:30 a.m. in Room TW-C305, at 445 12th Street, S.W., Washington, D.C. The Commission will consider: 1) Enhanced 911 (E911) location accuracy requirements, 2) implementation of 800 MHz band reconfiguration, 3) local franchising agreements, 4) program access rules, 5) digital television must carry requirements for cable operators, 6) broadband services rules, and 7) cellphone antenna rules.
The Advisory Committee on Diversity for Communications in the Digital Age is scheduled to meet on Thursday, September 27, 2007. The meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the Federal Communications Commission, in the Commission Meeting Room at 445 12th Street, S.W., Washington, D.C.
The FCC's Consumer Advisory Committee will hold a special meeting on Thursday, September 27, 2007 from 3:00 to 5:00 eastern time in Room 3B516 at FCC headquarters. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss and take action upon draft comments to be filed in the DTV Consumer Education Initiative NPRM, MB Docket No. 07-148.
